SHRC supported trainings of AYUSH healthcare workers. It provided support for training AYUSH health care workers, enabling them to participate effectively in AYUSH Kayakalp program at State and district level. SHRC in collaboration with the Department of AYUSH Chhattisgarh, facilitated initiatives to orient the Auxiliary Nurse Midwifes (ANMs), teachers and school children’s from government and private schools about the numerous benefits of Ayurveda and herbal medicine and plants in daily life. This effort resulted in the training of approximately 148 ANM, along with over 5,000 school children and teachers from 30 public and private schools. Additionally Mitanins have been trained on the use of ayurvedic products for addressing minor ailments in their day to day work. These capacity-building endeavors have played a crucial role in promoting the integration of Ayurveda and herbal medicine into the healthcare and lifestyle practices of the community.
