The State Health Resource Centre actively supports disease control programs and priority initiatives within the state. It piloted the Nikshay Poshan Yojana, later expanded nationwide under the National Health Mission. Collaborating with experts and premier institutions like AIIMS, it developed standard treatment guidelines across medical specialties. Additionally, SHRC successfully piloted point-of-care testing for sickle cell disease, paving the way for statewide implementation. It also supports and evaluates campaigns, notably contributing to efforts for a Malaria-free Bastar region.
