State Health Resource Centre provide active support to various disease control programs and other priority initiatives within the state. Support has been provided in piloting Nikshay Poshan Yojana which subsequently led to nationwide expansion under National Health Mission (NHM). Furthermore, SHRC has played a pivotal role in collaborating with experts in the State along with premier health care institutions like AIIMS for development of standard treatment guidelines (STGs) across various medical specialties. SHRC also successfully piloted point of care test for sickle cell disease, which demonstrated its feasibility and paved the way for its statewide implementation. In addition to these efforts, SHRC has been actively involved in supporting and evaluating campaigns aimed at achieving Malaria-free Bastar region, contributing significantly to disease control initiatives in the state.
